If the bet loses, ৳200 will be deducted. Team A and Team B — the numbers are examples only and are not a guarantee of actual returns.
A favourite's odds are usually lower. For example — Team B to win, decimal 1.50 = fractional 1/2 = American -200. On a ৳200 stake the return is ৳300 (profit only ৳100). Lower odds mean the outcome is considered more likely, so the return is also lower.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bet
Clicking on any selection adds it to the bet slip. You can bet in different ways using one or more selections.
Single Bet
A bet on just one selection — this is the simplest option. After the selection is added to the bet slip, enter the amount in the stake box; the potential return will be calculated automatically. Example: in a cricket match, Team A has odds of 2.10 and Team B has odds of 1.75. If you place ৳500 on Team B, and Team B wins, the return is ৳875 (profit ৳375); if Team A wins, ৳500 will be deducted.
Multi Bet
Adding two or more selections together creates a multi bet. The odds of all selections are multiplied to get the combined odds. Example: three selections with odds of 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36 (rounded). On a ৳100 stake the return is ৳336 — but all three selections must win; if one loses, the entire ৳100 is gone.
Betting Exchange Market
In the exchange section on 8mbets you can participate in two roles. BACK: placing a bet on Team A to win. LAY: betting against Team A — that is, accepting bets from other bettors. Example: backing Team A at decimal 2.50 with a ৳500 stake — if Team A wins, profit before commission is ৳750; if they do not win, you lose ৳500. If you LAY — the bettor's liability on ৳500 is ৳750 (৳500 × 1.50); if Team A does not win, you receive ৳500 before commission; if they win, you pay ৳750.
